When it came to the mesh itself, we didn't have to look far. Riverdale Mills manufacturers Aquamesh in Northbridge MA, the same wire mesh now used in more than half of all lobster traps built in North America. Just a Massachusetts mill that spent decades figuring out how to make wire mesh actually survive the ocean, the same way we spent decades figuring out how to build a trap that survives it too.
