GL Fast Pneumatic Hog Ring Tool

Our pneumatic hog ring tools drive a collated ring around two wires in a single trigger pull — faster, tighter, and more uniform than hand pliers, shot after shot.

We carry two models to match the ring size you're working with. 

3/4" Tool  — For 3/4", 15 gauge hog rings. The workhorse for lobster trap, wire mesh and oyster bag assembly. Compatible with bright, galvanized, and stainless steel rings in both sharp and blunt points. Closure diameter accommodates wire bundles from 5/16" to 27/64".  For our applications, we only use blunt-end stainless steel clips.

1/2" Tool  — For 1/2", 16 gauge hog rings. Ideal for finer meshwork, netting, and lighter-gauge applications. Available in galvanized, galfan, aluminum, and stainless steel rings. Tight closure head fits bundles as small as 1/8".  For our applications, we only use blunt-end stainless steel clips.

Both tools are air-powered and accept taped collated ring strips for fast, continuous operation. Both are compatible with the Taped Hog Rings sold on this site.

Air supply: continuous 80–90 PSI required for both models.
