Sæplast plastic containers are seamless rotomoulded double-walled containers. PUR (polyurethane rigid foam) refers to the insulation injected into the walls of the tubs, ensuring a very high insulation factor. The primary benefit of PUR containers is temperature retention and control. For over 30 years Sæplast has developed a unique technique that ensures effective adhesion between the polyethylene walls and the polyurethane for long-lasting structure.
Saeplast® is the top name in rotomolded insulated containers. The Sæplast insulated seafood containers are specially designed for depuration of shellfish and for life storage of various crustaceans. The traditional use is to stack the containers up and let water flow between the tubs through internal piping, thereby collecting contaminants at the bottom of the container. The Sæplast insulated seafood containers are double-walled with a PUR core. These containers are part of system installations that provide better water and space utilization than previous methods of using pools for depuration.
